Who Should Buy Arctis Nova 5X?
Good fit
Choose the Nova 5X if you game across supported consoles and devices and want one headset with a compact USB-C dongle plus Bluetooth switching.
It suits players who value long battery intervals, customizable game presets and a retractable mic, with headset controls for mute, volume and ChatMix.
Who should skip it

Skip it if your devices fall outside its listed Xbox, PC, PlayStation, Switch and mobile compatibility range.
Arctis Nova 5X: A Flexible Gaming Setup
Wireless switching for mixed use
The 2.4GHz and Bluetooth modes target different parts of a gaming routine: wireless gaming on one hand and calls or media on the other.
A one-button toggle may suit players who value quick transitions, while buyers should consider how often they will switch during play.
Battery life and charging rhythm
A 60-hour battery can reduce how often charging interrupts regular use, and a 15-minute USB-C fast charge adds six hours of use. Those figures make charging flexibility a central part of the fit for long or frequent sessions.
Audio options and microphone placement
The companion app's game presets provide a way to tailor audio settings, while the retractable microphone can be moved out of the way when not needed.
Presets and a microphone are useful tools, but buyers should judge them against their own preferences and call environments.
Controls across platforms
The USB-C dongle is designed for several gaming platforms and mobile devices, while the headset itself puts power, mute, volume, ChatMix and Quick-Switch controls within reach. This combination fits a multi-device setup where convenient control matters.
